Our Year 9 and 10 students had the wonderful opportunity to visit Curtin University to look into tertiary pathways available to them upon completion of their Year 12. They enjoyed a campus tour and took a glimpse at some of the areas that were available to explore, such as the engineering drama and library areas.
The students were treated to lunch from the cafe free of charge and then ended the day by hearing about the prerequisites to get into university. This opened a lot of interest and excitement for the students as they started to understand more about the next part of their learning process.
We are looking forward to having further excursions to assist our students in investigating career pathways in the future.
