Inter-School Basketball

On Friday the 16th of August, ACC took two teams to the WACCSA Basketball carnival held at the Willeton Stadium. Our girls had two wins from 4 games and placed third overall in B grade which was a successful campaign. Some of the highlight players were Mottie, Tomi, and Rose who have developed a strong on-court relationship since competing at the Netball carnival earlier in the year. Well done to our Year 5 and 6 young ladies, woohoo!!

The boys also played in the B grade division, winning 5 games out of 5, They were very happy with their performances and the WACCSA banner hangs probably in room 3. Some of the standout players on the day were Sein, Ashneil and Tusi, but this team was well-rounded and the entire team played to the best of their abilities.

ACC is an emerging school, but we look to commit more time to training and playing after school. So thank you to the parents for letting your kids stay back on Tuesdays. Volleyball is our next Sports Carnival and we will start practicing later this term.
