On Friday 8 March, Pre-Primary and Year 1 and 2 students had an exciting outing to Kings Park. We had great parent help and we are so thankful for it.

Our students had a hands-on experience to learn about evidence in nature to show that there are living things. Using their binoculars and magnifying glasses they searched high and low, finding spiderwebs, lion ant holes, a beehive, feathers, bug skins, live ants and worms. The teacher showed the students more evidence of what could be found in nature, such as skeletons, dung droppings and snake skins.

Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to explore the adventure park and enjoyed playing in the clear water and climbing the towers and rope challenges.

By the end of the day, everybody was exhausted from all the fresh air and activity.
