Meet Elaine Van Der Merwe

Elaine Van Der Merwe has joined us as the new Kindy Teacher. Elaine was born in South Africa and studied to be a teacher at the University of Pretoria, where she met her husband Nico who is also a teacher. One week after Elaine and Nico got married they moved to New Zealand where they were living for the last 18 years. Elaine and Nico have two beautiful children Mia (14) and Nickson (9).

Elaine has worked in a range of educational settings from Early Childhood Education to Specialised Education for children with learning barriers. Elaine is looking forward to being part of the ACC team and getting to know the students and parents.
