ACC Darling Downs celebrated National Tree day by allowing students and staff to wear something green and participate in some activities outdoors, which included a scavenger hunt.
National Tree Day is celebrated annually on the last Sunday in July (we snuck in early). It was established in 1996 by Planet Ark, an environmental organisation. The day is marked by community tree-planting events and activities aimed at improving the environment and engaging people in conservation efforts. Schools, community groups, and individuals participate in planting trees and learning about their benefits.
It was a great day and everyone had a lot of fun.
