As part of our efforts to prioritise the well-being and safety of our students, we hosted a ThinkUKnow presentation on February 7, 2024, Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in ACC-DD Room 3, for parents and carers.

ThinkUKnow Australia, a nationally recognised and evidence-based education program, is dedicated to preventing online child sexual exploitation. Building on the positive feedback from last year's presentation, we extended a warm invitation to a representative from every ACC family to participate and contribute to the dialogue.

Industry volunteers delivered the presentation. Adopting a pro-technology stance, the session provided insights into young people's online challenges and equipped attendees with the tools to navigate this digital landscape responsibly.

We believe this session was a good opportunity for our community to deepen our understanding of the online world and its impact on our young learners. Each parent and carer’s participation was crucial in collectively fostering a safe and secure online environment for our students.

We appreciate the engagement of those who attended this enlightening and empowering session.
