Uniforms

Uniforms have been worn very well by the majority of students - well done! We believe that wearing the uniform correctly is important as it reinforces essential skills of organisation and positive self presentation skills. In addition, uniforms reduce the likelihood of students competing to have the ‘coolest’ clothing. The majority of students have been remembering their hats, which has been great to see. One area to improve on is shoes. I have noticed some students wearing black sneakers with their formal school uniform. Our uniform guide states that students should be wearing formal black school shoes. If your child likes the comfort of sneakers, there are options that have a more ‘sport shoe’ feel but look like a formal leather shoe; for example, there are options available at Athlete’s Foot.
