In Science this term, our class has started studying how God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). We started exploring our solar system and how the movement of Earth and other planets relates to their position in the Solar System. Students are investigating how the  Earth’s rotation on its axis causes the day and night cycle, and how its revolution around the Sun leads to observable patterns such as changing seasons and the apparent movement of the Sun across the sky.

Using models of the Solar System, students will examine the interactions between the Sun, Earth, and Moon, making predictions and observations about cyclic events. Through hands-on investigations, they will represent their understanding using diagrams, infographics, and digital models—building valuable skills in scientific communication and reasoning.
