At the end of week 1, our Year 6 students took part in an exciting camp with the theme of resilience. At Kings Park, they built shelters using natural materials and cooked damper over an open fire, learning survival skills through teamwork and creativity.

A major highlight was the visit to Stratham Quarry, where students tackled team-building games and rock climbing. Every student showed incredible resilience by having a go at climbing the rock wall, encouraging one another and pushing through their fears.

Throughout the camp, students stepped out of their comfort zones, supported each other, and demonstrated determination in every activity. It was wonderful to see them grow in confidence while developing important life skills.

We are so proud of their efforts and the way they embraced every challenge with a positive attitude. Well done, Year 6—you showed what resilience truly looks like!
