Year 6 Poetry

This term, Year 6 students have been exploring figurative language to make their writing more creative and expressive. They’ve enjoyed using similes, metaphors, personification, imagery, and repetition to bring their poems and narratives to life. From painting vivid pictures with words to creating rhythm and emotion through repetition, students are learning how powerful language can be. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence and creativity shine!
