Yr 7 - 10 Service Learning - 'Kitchen Garden Project' Growing Minds: A Hands-On Planting Activity

In our latest learning adventure for Service Learning in the high school, students are getting their hands dirty with a Planting Activity that brings the General Capabilities curriculum to life!

Through this engaging experience, students will not only develop practical skills in planting and caring for their own plants, but also build their critical and creative thinking abilities, problem-solving skills, and understanding of sustainability. As they nurture their plants, they'll also explore the science behind growth and the importance of environmental responsibility. It’s a wonderful way to integrate hands-on learning with personal growth and environmental awareness! We cannot wait to see the contribution the students bring to the school's kitchen garden project.
